I'm obviously a huge lover of holidays. When it came time for St. Patrick's Day, I discovered that my soccer team was also playing a game that night. One of the girls on my team was joking with me asking if I was even old enough to know what a scrunchie is. I am, thank you very much! (I didn't, however, know that you could ROCK TWO AT THE SAME TIME! So maybe I really didn't know how to rock a scrunchie...) well since my soccer team plays in yellow or purple, I decided to make us something with a big of green in it. And just to be silly!
I followed a tutorial that said to use 3" wide strips of fabric. This made little thin scrunchies which were ...cute... but weren't really that scrunchie POWER POP I was hoping for. I would recommend using at least 5" wide to get the amazing look! It also did not matter how thin or thick the elastic was.
