What's the idea?
Turn old sweaters into cute new mittens!
Below are my old $1sweaters.
My cat, Molly, loves anything soft...
So first I took a sheet of paper and outlined my hand loosely. I outlined it large so when I sewed it I would have alot of extra space.
Next, I placed my pattern on top of the sweater and started cutting. I did this twice so that I would have two mittens.
I then used my sewing machine and sewed on the side. Since this material is rather difficult to work with, I left a larger seam allowance.
Using embroidery thread and an embroidery needle, I started "cross stitching" patterns onto the top of the mittens.
Since it was cold outside, I wanted to try something I saw on Pinterest. You take pancake mix, place it in a ziplock bag and you can make pretty patterned pancakes!
My name in cursive pancake!
This one is for my big sis:)
But I might be better at sewing than cooking...
