So for comparisons sake, I decided to look at how much can be saved by Thrifting :)
I had started my new job working in an office of a manufacturing plant. I quickly discovered that while we needed to wear dress pants, there was an extreme likelihood that you might sit in grease (which is IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OUT OF CLOTHES) have to crawl under something or climb ladders. I also found that when I got pants hemmed, they were either still a bit too long or awkwardly short. The solution- nice thrifted pants and safety pins!
Then to the book party!
The brains behind my book writing club is a genius man named Greg Smith. Greg and his friend Scott wrote this amazing book analyzing heroes and villains of the silver screen. They are examining what makes a good story and what qualities have to happen. It's a must read for anymore writing a novel and anyone who loves movies.
Don't worry, I have you covered!
The authors and I :) I got my book signed as well!
Oh, and my outfit cost roughly $5.
The new outfits were $173.
Cost Savings: $168.
Maybe with all my winnings I can get a new ride. Mine is looking a little dirty :P
