This dress is too tight and stretchy in a not good way and check out the awkward slits...
There is nothing good about this situation.
I cut part of the bottom off.
I then cut the sides open.
I went through my fabric pile and found this shiny black fabric. It is the same fabric from my Day 1 shirt! I would have used a pop of color but I have plans to make some pop of color bags at a later time :)
When I went to sew the pieces together, someone would not move. She was actually sitting on the sewing machine and I pushed her over...
The black piece was shorter than the dress so I gave the front and back a rounded hem.
