I found this star printed skirt on Pinterest and fell in love. I went searching for a blue skirt and found this medium length wrap skirt.
It tied in the back. This shirt is also thrifted :)
I started by cutting the skirt a little bit shorter.
I found a bunch of these craft sponges at a bag sale. I had them out looking for the star when Little Buddy came over and took the bag! She thought they were for her!
I started applying the stars. I actually like that it isn't consistent. It gives it a playful look.
I let it dry and then, ta-da! Perfect star skirt! I paired it with this Old Navy Shirt that I found in a bag sale too! The most expensive item on this outfit is my $2.50 Old Navy Flip Flops!
I'm just being silly.
It was a great day out on the lake! My cousins went intertubing and my sister and I decided to try our luck at doubles skiing. It totally worked, but I forgot how terrifying skiing is.
My cousin decided that he wanted to try and stand up on the tube. I'm not sure why he thought this was a good idea. My dad (the boat driver) is a trickster and loves to get people off their floats.
After a long day in the sun, my family LOVES games. My uncle has a closet that is dedicated to games. We are pretty hardcore. We used to love playing The Settlers of Catan (link below)
but we got a bit too competitve. My uncle brought down the game Pandemic (*link below is an affiliated link. Proceeds from each purchase help pay for this blog :)) Pandemic is really fun because it is a strategy game but you are playing against the board game and not against each other. IT's great for highly competitive people!
