This week has been a bit crazy and often I only have 5mins. How do you remake clothes in 5 mins?!?! Here's how! I started with this blue plaid dress that mostly fit.
Not to point it out, but it had the worlds most awkward pockets.... And they are real pockets. So you can actually put stuff in them....
First of all, let's pull off these wacky pockets.
I used my seam ripper and pulled.
Then I pinned it and cut it a bit shorter.
This was an adventure in the making. This week I traveled to visit my friend Stacy. We decided to try some "Two Buck Chuck". We had a bit of a malfunction and broke the wine bottle opener in the bottle! We tried everything but had to give up. It was actually really funny.
I packed up my hilarious unopened wine and headed to the beach to visit Ryan and Brittany.
Brittany has got this. That's right, shes opening it with a penguin!
Here's my travel dress in less than 5 mins! I rolled up the sleeves and added a colorful belt! Perfect for traveling on a warm day.
I cut the bottom hem with my waffle scissors so I didn't have to hem it. Dress complete in 5 mins! My mom still hated the plaid pattern. If you have more time, you can always try dying it. Maybe I'll redye it navy blue and let you know how it turns out :)
