I went back and forth on what color my Fairy Godmother's would want my dress. Would they want it pink or blue? I didn't know, so I went with pink in hopes that it would stay pink :)
I already had an awesome light pink top, so I quickly cut a little bit of length off.
Now onto my mini Aurora. I will say, the second she was placed in this outfit, she started to get very sleeeeeeepy. I started with two pink shirts from the bag sale and cut the top out of light pink shirt.
Then the bottom out of a darker pink.
I then sewed the raw edges on the light pink part.
I then sewed the top of the pink sides together to create the top.
Time to sew them together!
I wanted to add a flower sash to her outfit so I grabbed some spare chiffon (it's from the giant flower I made for my hair a while ago. I love reusing scraps!)
I then started hand sewing and gathering to create a flower.
I sewed it onto a ribbon sash.
With some of the scarps, I cut out two sleeves.
I gathered the sleeve and then sewed it on so it would be a cap sleeve.
and there the little sleeping beauty hanging out with the other little princesses!
she's trying to escape before the dragon comes!
meeting the other princess.
