1. This past weekend was my State Conference for The Daughters of the American Revolution. I've talked about this before but I figured I would give yall a recap. It's a amazing service organization and I've added the link above.
2. As a junior member (aka anyone under 40) you get to do special tasks.
3. As a junior member, we normally wear white. On certain nights, we can wear color. Hints this purple dress.
The bottom part of the skirt was REALLY pretty. But I couldn't figure out how to make it all look correct. I tried pinning it about 50 different ways. I could get the middle part to be long enough without hitting me in a really awkward way. No girl wants a tight dress right on her middle section!
After the conference was over, I was headed to my chapter meeting where I was winning an award for being the Outstanding Junior for my chapter. (Yes I am totally tooting my own horn!)
Once again, I was proven wrong. Everyone loved this dress and said how pretty it looks.
