"Join us in celebrating these fine individuals who have led our country through unseen successes and catastrophes. Team USA for the win!
Costumes are required if you're planning on joining us because let's be honest, what could be more fun than dressing up as your favorite president or first lady and/or wearing a three-corner-hat while casually drinking American-made beer? Feel free to get creative because we sure will be. And if you're already thinking about not partaking...you are wrong."
So this brings the question, WHO DO I GO AS?!?!?! I naturally wanted to be Jackie O, but I also wanted to try something different. I landed on Mrs. Grace Coolidge.
1. Born Jan 3, 1879. I was born on Jan 2 :)
2. She has a pretty funny story of how she met her husband "While watering flowers outside the school one day in 1903, she happened to look up at the open window of Robert N. Weir's boardinghouse and caught a glimpse of Calvin Coolidge shaving in front of a mirror with nothing on but long underwear and a hat. She burst out laughing at the sight; he heard the noise and turned to look at her. It was their first meeting. After a more formal introduction sometime later, the two were quickly attracted to each other."
3. She was the 3rd of only 5 first ladies who are only children. (This fact gets a big booo because I rather like my sister.
4. Her first lady "thing" was helping support the deaf.

I put him in the dryer and he was fluffy again!
